He unveiled a nativity scene in the Vatican that depicts baby Jesus in a keffiyeh, a garment associated with Palestinians. This portrayal is astonishing to me because we know that Jesus was born to Jewish parents in Judea. It’s crucial to understand that the term 'Palestinian' was only coined in the 1960s, and historically, it doesn’t apply to Jesus. This narrative is not just misleading; it’s confusing for Christians all over the world. Moreover, the Pope’s comments regarding the ongoing conflict in Gaza lack historical context and fail to address the real tragedies taking place. It’s shocking to see the head of the Catholic Church seemingly rewriting history like this.
Will: Absolutely, and it’s not just about the nativity scene. Did you know that the colors of Christmas in America—green and red—are the same as those on the Palestinian flag? This is all part of a manipulation to claim that Jesus was Palestinian, which he clearly was not. The media plays a huge role in this deception, and it’s alarming how many people fall for it. There’s a significant difference between being Catholic and being Christian, and I think the Catholic Church has shifted practices over the years to fit its agenda. Plus, we need to be aware of the United Religions Initiative led by the Pope, which aims to unify all religions. This raises serious questions about a one-world religion and order that could undermine traditional Christian beliefs.
