Barry: As if things couldn’t get worse after Charlie Kirk’s assassination, there are now thousands of posts online calling for the murder of other public figures. These aren’t anonymous whispers — they’re hit lists being posted publicly on X and TikTok. We’ve seen them ourselves. People openly writing “Do Joe Rogan next,” “Kill Ben Shapiro,” “Shoot Dennis Prager,” “Let’s kill Matt Walsh,” “Do Trump next.” Even JK Rowling, whose only “crime” was writing the Harry Potter books, is being named. This isn’t free speech — this is solicitation of murder. These are terrorists calling for blood. Matt Walsh himself said he’s received dozens of screenshots from concerned supporters but refuses to go into hiding. “We have to be louder and bolder now more than ever,” he wrote, “or else the demons who killed Charlie will win — and they cannot win.”
Will: Barry, it’s happening because the media’s hateful rhetoric fuels it. They call people “Nazis,” “Gestapo,” “Hitler figures,” and then pretend to be shocked when their followers call for violence. I’ve received these threats myself. One message told me, “I hope you get what Charlie Kirk got.” Another threatened to come to Oakland to “put me out of my misery.” I’ve never met these people, never cursed at anyone, never called for violence — yet because I believe in God, the Constitution, and freedom, they want to harm me. That’s the sad part: I almost expect it now. But this isn’t just an attack on individuals — it’s an attack on the First Amendment itself. They’re trying to silence voices of faith, freedom, and truth. And it’s intensifying.
ATP will not be silenced. We’re exposing this culture of hate and the media’s role in it. Free speech isn’t violence — but incitement to murder is a crime. It’s time to call it what it is.
