A woman’s testimony is treated as half of a man’s.
This is not something I made up.
This is not commentary.
This is not “Islamophobia.”
This comes directly from Quran 2:282, which states that in certain testimony, two women are required in place of one man.
Think about what that means.
If any other religion, legal system, or political movement openly stated that a woman’s word was worth half of a man’s, the so-called feminist movement would explode.
They would march.
They would protest.
They would demand accountability.
They would call it oppression — and they would be right.
But when it comes to Islam, the left suddenly goes silent.
The same activists who claim to defend women’s rights every single day refuse to confront the places where women are treated as less credible, less equal, and less protected under the law.
That silence is not compassion.
It is hypocrisy.
Because if you truly believe in women’s rights, you do not get to pick and choose when women deserve equality.
You do not get to condemn the West while ignoring religious or legal systems that place women beneath men.
And you do not get to call yourself a defender of women while refusing to speak for the women who need defending the most.
Here is my point:
Women’s rights are not negotiable.
A woman’s voice should not count for less.
Her testimony should not be discounted.
Her dignity should not depend on whether the oppressor fits the approved political narrative.
If feminists are silent when women are treated as half of a man, then they are not defending women.
They are defending an ideology.
