RETIRED WOMAN’S IDENTITY ALLEGEDLY USED BY ACTBLUE TO FUNNEL LARGE DONATIONS TO DEMOCRATS!
Barry: There's a little old lady in Colorado named Sonia Imachi, who's been retired for 21 years and lives in a retirement home. She’s been donating $10 to $15 a month to ActBlue, a Democrat fundraising organization. However, according to ActBlue’s federal filings, Sonia is reported to have donated a staggering $230,000. Sonia was shocked when O'Keefe Media Group confronted her about this because she confirmed she only donates around $10 a month. It appears that ActBlue might be using real donors' names, like Sonia's, to funnel dark money from unknown sources, potentially from overseas, making it look like legitimate donations. This way, they keep the actual source of the money hidden. ActBlue's response was to dismiss the allegations, stating Republicans simply can't accept that millions of Democrats are engaged in the political process. But how does a retiree on a limited income end up being reported as donating hundreds of thousands of dollars?
Will: The big question is, where is the IRS in all of this? They’re usually quick to go after every nickel and dime, so why aren’t they investigating if names are being used without consent for such large donations? When you donate to a nonprofit, it’s supposed to be tax-deductible, but political donations like these aren’t. How can ActBlue take money under people’s names and then use it to fund Democrats however they want? The reality is that Sonia, who had to reduce her donation from $15 to $10 a month due to her limited budget, would never be able to donate $230,000. It’s unsettling to think this could be happening on a larger scale, with more innocent people unknowingly becoming part of this scheme.
