IT’S NOT HER REAL NAME
Barry: The feds just used a different name for Ilhan Omar in a federal court filing.
And wait until you hear what President Trump is demanding.
The Department of Justice is investigating allegations involving Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s immigration history.
But now, a new federal filing has raised even more questions.
Prosecutors referred to the congresswoman as:
“Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, also known as Ilhan Abdullahi Omar.”
Think about that last name.
Elmi.
Sound familiar?
That’s the same surname as her former husband, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, whom critics have long alleged is actually her biological brother.
The allegation is that Omar married him in 2009 to help him obtain immigration benefits.
Omar has denied those accusations, and they have not been proven.
But here’s where the story gets interesting.
On October 12, 2026, federal investigators searched Omar’s Washington, D.C., home as part of an ongoing criminal investigation.
Authorities seized her phone, and investigators reportedly issued grand jury subpoenas, including to some of her relatives.
And now that different name has appeared in a federal court filing connected to the investigation.
U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro’s office filed a motion in the District of Columbia using the name Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, also known as Ilhan Abdullahi Omar.
Why?
That’s the question.
Omar’s office is pushing back hard.
She insists her real name is Ilhan Abdullahi Omar and maintains that the accusations against her are false.
But this is no longer simply a claim circulating on social media.
The unusual name designation is now part of an official federal filing.
And here’s something important:
The filing does not explain why prosecutors used that name, and it does not establish that Omar committed immigration fraud.
She has not been charged with a crime.
But the investigation continues.
And now President Trump is publicly demanding that Omar resign from Congress.
He wants her out.
Immediately.
So here’s my question:
Is Ilhan Omar’s identity being misrepresented in federal records, or is there an explanation investigators have yet to reveal?
And what will the investigation ultimately uncover?
We deserve answers.
We deserve transparency.
And we deserve to know whether serious allegations against someone serving in the United States Congress are supported by evidence.

This is about more than a name.
It’s about the integrity of our immigration system, the accountability of public officials, and the importance of establishing the truth.
If the allegations are proven, the consequences could be serious.
If they’re false, the public deserves to know that too.
But one thing is certain:
The investigation is not over.
