Barry: The Democrats just spent $64 million — $64 million — trying to push through a bogus redistricting map in Virginia.
They wanted to gerrymander the state to eliminate Republican representation in Congress. And basically, the liberal Democrat-appointed Supreme Court in Virginia stepped on it and threw the whole thing out.
$64 million gone.
And now the Democrats in Virginia and around the country who paid for this boondoggle disaster are going crazy.
They’re screaming, ‘This isn’t democracy! This is taking away the right to vote!’
No, it’s not.
Representation in Congress is proportional to the people who live there, not according to their skin color.
But in Virginia, a Democrat-controlled state, because they couldn’t get their way, they’re melting down because they couldn’t buy a map they created out of thin air to change the congressional makeup of their state.
Shame on you, Virginia Democrats.
