Barry: You want to know how bad the violent threats have gotten against people exercising their First Amendment rights? Just weeks ago, Charlie Kirk himself warned us. He tweeted: “Assassination culture is spreading on the left. 48% of liberals say it would be at least somewhat justified to murder Elon Musk. 55% said the same about Donald Trump. In California, activists are naming ballot measures after Luigi Mangione—the man who shot the president of United Healthcare in the back.” He wrote that just a month ago. And then it happened to him. His assassin carried Antifa and pro-trans slogans on the bullets of his rifle. Kirk saw it coming—he was prophetic, and it cost him his life.
Will: Exactly, Barry. The left is being whipped into a violent frenzy—celebrating assassins, smiling when killers are arrested, treating violence as justified whenever they lose a case or election. Even the White House is quietly warning people to “be mindful” because more violence is coming from the left. Conservatives aren’t doing this—it’s all one-sided. Charlie knew it. Like Martin Luther King before him, he understood the danger and still spoke truth. He saw the Promised Land and knew the cost. And now, tragically, his prophecy has come true.
When half the country excuses political murder, the danger is no longer theoretical. If they can justify violence against Charlie Kirk, they can justify it against anyone. We must stand firm, speak truth, and refuse to be intimidated—before it’s too late.
