Barry: Remember the presidential debate where Kamala Harris claimed to be a gun owner who supports the Second Amendment? Well, in a past interview, she said the opposite, mentioning a law she drafted in California to allow home inspections for gun owners to ensure "responsible behavior." Essentially, she’s suggesting that law-abiding citizens might have government inspections in their homes, disregarding Constitutional protections. As we approach November, more fact-checking has come to light, revealing her stance on gun control isn’t as supportive as she once claimed.
Will: Australia already does something similar, where the government has the right to inspect legal gun owners’ homes, which CNN praised in a past report. They also did a mandatory buyback—something Kamala has pushed for here. Recently, she said she’d personally defend herself with a gun if someone broke in, but for the rest of us? She wants strict lock-up policies, leaving citizens defenseless. And then there’s Tim Walz claiming she’s a hunter. Really? What’s she hunted, exactly? Maybe just a climb up the political ladder.
